Technotherm’s process gas boilers are widely recognized in plants producing hydrogen via the steam hydrocarbon process.

These boilers are suitable for cooling hydrogen-enriched gas at high mass flow rates and are able to withstand the high heat flux usual for this type of service.

Gas side conditions may approach 2000 degrees F at 640 psig, with steam side pressure up to 1720 psig. These units are generally furnished with shop installed refractory.

The steam drum can be shipped either assembled to the boiler or with saddles for separate mounting.
